Things to consider when buying your wood moldingEstimating the quantity:Our wood molding is sold in quantities of 8 foot pieces. You can estimate the lineal footage amount of basesboard, chair rail, and crown molding by measuring the perimeter of your room, plus closets! Add a 10% waste factor to your footage total. Window and wood door trim can be estimated by totaling the lineal feet around the perimeter of each opening and adding about 20% for waste. Lengths: We offer 8 foot lengths for all of our wood trim.
