Cherry
Stainability, hardness, and beauty.
Cherry moldings look great when stained although it can be difficult to achieve an even stain because of the swirl pattern. Cherry has a very distinctive and somewhat unique figure. It can range in color
from a dark reddish brown heartwood and will darken to deep, rich tones with age. Our moldings are unfinished, we want you to have the option to stain or just let mother nature do it's work.
Our decorative cherry crown molding makes a beautiful wood trim. Pennsylvania is known to have the best cherry in the world and it's never been easier to buy your wood trim online and have it delivered to
your doostep!
See what our customers are building with our moldings!
"Here is the photo of the new fireplace. The cherry is from your shop(best ever!) The finish is General Finishes Warm Cherry oil-based. It must dry for at least 72 hours, then we used General Finishes High Performance water-based satin topcoat(7 coats). Although the photos do not do the finished product justice, I think you will agree that it looks pretty good.
Under the finished fireplace is white brick and a concrete mantle and hearth. We covered the face and hearth with tile, then applied the cherry.
Again, thank you for your great products!"
