Mahogany is used for furniture, pianos, guitars, carving, cabinetry and wood trim. Genuine Mahogany or Honduras Mahogany as
it is commonly called grows in the rainforests of Central and South America.
Mahogany moldings are often used as accents to mahogany furniture or wall panels. It's characteristic straight grain makes
for excellent crown moldings. Due to it's availability and demand the price has become twice that of cherry but can be used for interior or exterior wood trim! We suggest and use Sapele as an alternative to
Mahogany.
