Red Oak
Red Oak
Solid oak moldings make great interior trim. Red oak pictured here is cheaper but...White Oak gets the win based on its versatility. White oak will stand up to weather conditions and is water resistant. Red oak will rot when exposed to wet conditions and is
relegated to use as an interior wood trim. For exterior wood trim, white oak must be used!
The price difference!
Our red oak moldings are approximately 10% cheaper than their white oak molding counterparts.
