White Oak
White Oak
Solid oak moldings make great interior trim. White Oak shown here is more expensive than Red Oak and is more versatile. White oak will stand up to weather conditions and is water resistant. Red oak will rot when exposed to wet conditions and is
relegated to use as an interior wood trim. For exterior wood trim, white oak must be used!
The price difference!
Our White Oak moldings are approximately 10% more than our Red Oak moldings, but your decision between the two should be more based on look and area of usage.
